Workspaces
Workspaces are the foundational organizational unit in Trackelio. Every piece of content — boards, posts, changelogs, knowledge base articles, surveys, and more — lives inside a workspace. Each workspace is fully isolated, making Trackelio a multi-tenant platform where teams operate independently.
Workspace properties
Section titled “Workspace properties”Each workspace has the following attributes:
- Name — The display name of the workspace.
- Slug — A unique URL-safe identifier used for the public board URL (
{slug}.trackelio.com). - Description — A short summary of the workspace’s purpose.
- Logo — A custom logo displayed on the public board and portal.
- Settings — Configuration options for branding, behavior, and integrations.
What a workspace contains
Section titled “What a workspace contains”A workspace acts as the container for all of the following:
- Boards — Categories for organizing feedback.
- Posts — Individual feedback items submitted by users.
- Statuses — Configurable pipeline stages for posts.
- Labels — Color-coded tags for categorization.
- Members — Users who belong to the workspace.
- Sites — Connected websites for widget integration.
- Changelogs — Public update logs.
- Knowledge Base — Help articles and documentation.
- Surveys — User surveys for collecting structured feedback.
- Webhooks — Outgoing event notifications to external services.
Ownership
Section titled “Ownership”Each workspace has exactly one owner. The owner has full control over the workspace, including the ability to delete it, manage billing, and configure all settings. See Roles for a full breakdown of permissions.
Inviting members
Section titled “Inviting members”Members can join a workspace in two ways:
- Email invitation — The owner or a moderator sends an invite to a specific email address.
- Shareable link — A public invitation link that anyone can use to join.
Users who sign up through the public board are automatically added as members.
Plan limits
Section titled “Plan limits”The number of workspaces a user can create depends on their subscription plan:

Branding and customization
Section titled “Branding and customization”Workspace settings include branding options that control the look of the public-facing board and portal. These options are available on the Pro plan only:
- Custom logo — Replace the default logo with your own.
- Accent color — Set a primary color used across buttons and highlights.
- Text color — Customize the main text color.
- Font — Choose a font family for the public interface.
- Border radius — Adjust the roundness of UI elements.
On the Free plan, a “Powered by Trackelio” badge is displayed on the public board. This badge is automatically hidden on the Pro plan.
