Boards

Boards provide a way to categorize and organize feedback within a workspace. Each board represents a distinct topic or type of feedback, making it easier for both your team and your users to find and submit relevant posts.

Typical boards include:

  • Feature Requests — Ideas and suggestions for new functionality.
  • Bug Reports — Issues and defects reported by users.
  • General Feedback — Open-ended feedback that does not fit a specific category.

You can create as many boards as your workflow requires.

Each board has the following attributes:

  • Name — The display name shown to users.
  • Slug — A URL-safe identifier used in links and filters.
  • Description — A short explanation of what the board is for.
  • Sort order — A numeric value that controls the display order of boards in the interface.
  • Every post belongs to exactly one board.
  • Boards appear as filters on feedback views, allowing users to browse posts by category.
  • On the public board, users select a board when submitting new feedback.

Boards are managed from workspace settings. From there you can:

  • Create a new board with a name, slug, and description.
  • Edit an existing board’s name, description, or slug.
  • Reorder boards by changing their sort order.
  • Delete a board that is no longer needed.

Deleting a board does not automatically delete its posts. Decide how to handle existing posts before removing a board.
